Description

NGC 688 is a Galaxy in a distance of 193 Mio Lj. She is a member of Abell 262 which can be seen on the upper part of the picture. The size of the galaxy is only 2,1 x 1,5 arcmin.

The biggest galaxy of Abell 262 cluster is NGC 708 with a size of 3,0 x 2,5 arcmin a real size of 200.000 Lj. which is the big one on top.
